William Bulloch Adams passed away Friday, September 1, 1995 in St. George, Utah to join his mother, father, brothers and sisters, who have long been awaiting him. His sweetheart of 68 years, Arvilla, was beside his bed at the time of his death.

Bill was born to William Bailey Adams and Elizabeth Bulloch on April 9, 1904 in Cedar City, Utah. He married Arvilla Hulet on June 21, 1927 in the St. George LDS Temple. He was a lifelong resident of Cedar City and felt great pride in his pioneer heritage. Bill helped build the Old Rock Church in Cedar and was a charter member and long-time president of the Iron Rangers. His love was Cedar Mountain and the ranch where he ran cattle with his brothers and sons. He retired from Garrett Freight Lines after 28 years.He is survived by his wife, Arvilla and four children, William Gary (Kathryn) Adams and Gayle Hulet (Leah) Adams, of Cedar City; Uldene (Hal) Norton, of St. George; and Oscar Ron (Lolene) Adams, of Henderson, Nevada; 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert, Drex and JV; sisters, Vera, Maria; one grandson and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 1995 at 2 p.m. in the Old Rock Church in Cedar City. Friends may call Monday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery.
