After strumming some strings on stage, Ted Nugent supported strings of a different sort: bowstrings.

The self-proclaimed Motor City Madman, an avid bowhunter, was on hand Tuesday at a rally in Hartford, Conn., for a new law that allows hunters to donate wild game to food pantries."There's no better use of venison than to feed homeless people who otherwise would have to scrape their food from a Dumpster," said Nugent, who had appeared in concert Monday.
