FACILITY AT BRYCE CANYON PLANNED FOR HORSEBACK RIDERS

SHARE FACILITY AT BRYCE CANYON PLANNED FOR HORSEBACK RIDERS

A facility to accommodate participants and commercial operators of horseback trail rides in Bryce Canyon National Park has been proposed.

The plan has been evaluated in an environmental assessment, which is available at the park for public review by contacting Richard Bryant at (801) 834-4900.The area doesn't have a shelter for riders, who are using a historic service station. Park personnel want to restore the station to its original appearance.

The contact facility will be used for shelter, to store equipment and for wranglers to repair equipment between rides.
