The Utah Valley Artists' Guild will meet at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Artshop, 200 E. 443 South.
Guest artist Roberta Glidden will give a lecture and demonstration on painting on silk. In past years, Glidden was commissioned to design Olympic flags. She will also give a workshop from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Artshop.The mini exhibit will be given by Rebecca Lee. She has been painting since she was 15. Her paintings have been in many shows and have been displayed in several galleries in the area.
The November Artists' Guild meeting will feature Gabrial Hodson. She is a forensic anthropologist, reconstructing heads for the crime labs in the area. Hodson works at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley State College as a sculptor.
