Pauline "Polly" Lavina Johnson Lund, age 81, passed away October 24, 1996, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born May 3, 1915, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Hans and Mable Scales Johnson. Polly was an active member of the LDS Church, Grant 8th Ward. She had a pilots license and enjoyed flying her small airplane. Polly was active in the Democratic Party. She was one of the few mink ranchers in Salt Lake City. Loved to watch the Utah Jazz.Survived by one son, Jim (wife, Betsy) Lund, Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandsons, Michael and David. A special thanks to the Ottley family and all those who loved and cared for Polly over the years.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 1996, 2 p.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Monday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
