To all out there who oppose school uniforms, take a minute to consider the practicality of them. Uniforms would eliminate some of the pain and expense of school shopping and would also make mornings much easier by eliminating the panic of what to wear.
Not only are school uniforms practical, but they would also help children learn valuable lessons. Uniforms would help students focus on the personality and character of other students rather than on their style of dress. Students would find it easier to move around socially, since uniforms would help eliminate certain barriers. After all, if clothing maketh the man, then a youth's clothing can either encourage false pride and rebellious behavior or responsible citizenship.Sandra Smith
