The Kimball Art Center will celebrate 20 years of art, education and community at the Inn at Prospector Square on Saturday, Nov. 2. The Anniversary Gala includes performances by the Park City International Music Festival, Utah Opera, Ballet West and the Park City Singers. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner, dessert and performances at 7:30 p.m. The event is black tie and tickets are $75 per person. - Allen Bishop and Connie Borup are the featured artists in "Art & Nature: A Natural Connection," another event in the Wild Card series at the Utah Museum of Natural History. Terry Tempest Williams will host the conversation on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 581-6928.- Student artists from the Granite School District will display and sell their art at the seventh annual Granite Education Foundation Art Auction. The silent auction will be at the Cottonwood Mall from Wednesday, Oct. 30, through Saturday, Nov. 2. The hours on Wednesday through Friday are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. The event closes at 7 p.m. on Saturday when the artwork will be awarded to the highest bidder. The exhibit also includes work by 19 local professional artists.

King, writer, artist and craftswoman, will lecture on her book-printing and binding techniques at Weber State University Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. in the Parry Choral Room of the Browning Center.
