It's Halloween on Wall Street - some horses were tricked and some were treated. Blue Chip dunked for an apple and came up with $30 to take the lead from OTC who felt like the back half of the traditional horse costume after losing $216 this week. Third-place Lipper Mutual gave away $54 in nickels to the kids in his neighborhood. Lipper International remains fourth, but a $15 loss took some of the flicker out of his pumpkin. The savers are safety conscious in all matters. After Money Market, EE Bonds and 90-Day CD - in fifth, sixth and seventh - collected their usual $9, $9 and $8 treats, they still had them X-rayed for signs of tampering. Gold moved into eighth after finding $15 in his candy bag. Silver falls to ninth after losing $152 - black cats and red ink seem to be his fate as of late. 30-Year T-Bond made the biggest haul of the holiday - six popcorn balls, five caramel apples, three candy bars and $45 - but still came in last.
THE GREAT RACE
