Merle Lindsay Moss, passed away on October 25, 1996.

She joins her loving husband, S. Lawrence; son, Stephen; grandson, Stephen Belnap; parents; seven sisters and one brother.Merle was born on August 29, 1914 to James Lyon and Elizabeth Jones Lindsay in Heber City, Utah. She participated in orchestra and vocal performances at Wasatch High School. From 1933 - 1935, she served in the Northern States Mission for the L.D.S. Church. On January 10, 1936 she married her eternal companion in the Salt Lake Temple.

During her adult life Merle gave many hours of service in the Relief Society and Primary. She love her time spent working in the Salt Lake Temple.

Merle loved to crochet and created many works of art for loving friends and family. She was an avid reader. Her favorite past time was bearing her testimony to her grandchildren and special friends. She was a great influence and example to those fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her children: LaRae (A.V.Ball); daughter-in-law, Rosalie Moss Jones; Susan (Ray Broadbent); Thomas J. (Judy); James William (Virginia); Elizabeth (Paul Belnap). Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Della Ostlund and Cherry Nielsen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 1996 at 12 noon in the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 West Center Street. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel, 295 North Main and Wednesday at the church 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery
