Ruby I. Johanson Young Olsen, our beloved mother, died October 24, 1996.
She was born March 24, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Carl Johan Oscar Johanson and Astrid Wilhelmina Henrickssen. Ruby married James Guy Young, the love of her life, December 1, 1939. He died November 27, 1965. Married Floy L. Olsen, June 7, 1967, he died March 15, 1993.Ruby loved her yard, flowers and family.
She is survived by her children, Eldon J. (Susan) Young; Charley Guy (Lynda) Young; Caroline A. (Mike) Praszynski and Dolly (Jerry) Christiansen; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; four sisters and one brother, Ethel, Vivian, Willard, Elfie, and Helen. Preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 1996 at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery/Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah, where friends may call one hour prior to service.
