It happens only once every 10 years, and it was Jodie Foster's turn this time around.

The actress was named actor of the decade at the Chicago International Film Festival on Saturday. Previous winners have been Jack Lemmon, Sophia Loren and Tom Cruise."It's hard to think of myself as a trophy-getter" Foster said.

Foster adds this latest prize to her two Academy Awards. She won best actress Oscars for "The Accused," the 1988 film in which she plays a rape survivor, and as an FBI-trainee in 1991's "The Silence of the Lambs."
