National Park Service officials have recovered the body of a 28-year-old West Jordan man who drowned in Lake Powell near the confluence of the Escalante River.

The Glen Canyon Dive Team, using a camera-equipped, remote-control vessel, recovered the body of Kory John Pasquin about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in 134 feet of water in the Fifty Mile Canyon area.Pasquin was the tenth fatality at Lake Powell this year. All of the deaths were due to drowning or were the result of boating accidents.
