Phyllis Kay Clinton passed away October 26, 1996, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 9, 1940, to Leo and Eleanor Ellenbecker in Gettysburg, South Dakota. Married John Clinton October 21, 1961; later divorced, yet remained her close friend. Moved to Salt Lake City in 1964, where she lived, worked and raised her family. Employed by Flannery & Associates. She adored her family and was a great strength to them. Member St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.She is survived by her daughter, Pam Hills (Todd); son, Mike Clinton; mother, Eleanor Ellenbecker of Issaquah, Wash.; sister, Marge Bartle (Larry) Medina, Wash.; brother, Douglas Eleenbecker (Bertha), Dickinson, North Dakota; two grandsons, Zachary and Jeremy Hills; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Ellenbecker, and infant brother, Doyle Ellenbecker.

A Rosary will be said in her honor on Tuesday, October 29, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, at 4335 West 4100 South, WVC, where friends may call from 6-7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 12 noon. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
