UHFA officials said First Security made 25 percent of all of its loans in the 18 months and made more than 40 percent of the loans to first-time homebuyers who purchase homes under $77,500."First Security is pleased to partner with the UHFA in providing affordable housing to Utahns," said Blayne Christensen, First Security president of residential mortgage. "In the past 18 months we've made almost 900 loans with the Utah Housing Finance Agency, which means we've helped 900 families find affordable, safe homes."
