With so many restaurants to choose from in Utah Valley, there's never enough time or resources to try them all - that is, unless you attend the annual Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce's Taste of Provo and Orem.
This year's event will be held at the Provo Park Hotel on Monday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in conjunction with the Great Kid Awards at 12:30 p.m.Every year, the chamber gives restaurants and vendors in the valley an opportunity to show off their best dishes and drinks. Last year, more than 1,000 people tried out the various dishes, drinks and desserts. Their top votes went to Tony Roma's for the Carolina Honey Baked Ribs, and Good Earth for the best drink - fresh-squeezed apple juice.
Cost for the event is $1. The public is invited. For more information call the Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce at 379-2555.
