Geraldine Vernis Sisam Ballard, 56, passed away October 27, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born January 28, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of William A. Sisam and Belva L. Haight. Married Davis V. Ballard August 8, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church where she held various callings. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, and decorating wedding cakes. She spent her life quietly serving others. She touched many lives and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Survived by husband, Davis; children, Davis V., Jr., and Wendy Ballard; Geralynn Barney; Debi and Pat Aston, D. James and Jenny Ballard, and Jack Ryan Ballard; 11 grandchildren; father, William A. Sisam; brothers and sisters, Bill, Bonnie, Eugene, Trudy, Glen, Vern, and Alvin; uncles, Jack and Delbert. Preceded in death by mother; grandparents, uncle and daughter, Rebekah.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at the Granger 20th Ward, 2850 West 3855 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Thursday at the church, 11-11:40 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
