Frank Robert Dover, passed away October 28, 1996.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 30, 1909, the third child born to Frank W. and Bertha Mae Foote Dover. He married Shirley Allen April 16, 1940; the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Frank was educated in Salt Lake schools. His first employment was as a baker in the Purity Biscuit Co. He worked in Hanford, Washington as a fireman. He was next employed at the Salt Lake School District as a plumber for 29 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Sunday School presidency and Elders Quorum presidency. He provided service to the Sunday Anderson Senior Citizens Center, which he went to regularly and enjoyed many friendships.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dover; a son, Charles Dover; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Katherine Johnson; and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 1, 1996, 12 noon, Cannon 5th Ward, 1250 West 1400 So. Friends may call Friday 10-11:45 a.m. at the ward. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral Directors: Russon Brothers Mortuary.
