Jimmy D. Thacker, 44, of Magna, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday of injuries related to an auto pedestrian accident.

Thacker, an employee with the University of Utah's Printing Services, was left in critical condition Monday afternoon after being hit by a car while crossing South Campus Drive near the Huntsman Center, Lt. Brent Marchant said. Thacker was taken to the University Medical Center, where he died Tuesday.
