Ruby Taylor Palmer, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, 75, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996.

She was born May 11, 1921 in Preston, Idaho, a daughter of George Q. and Florence Layne Taylor. She married her sweetheart DeLamar Palmer June 18, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. Ruby was reared and educated in Preston and lived in Weston, Idaho 14 years and in Kaysville since 1960. She graduted from Preston High School. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Primary, Relief Society and Young Women's Organizations. She was an excellent artist, seamstress and enjoyed working on crafts. Her special talent and priority however was that of wife, mother and grandmother, creating a loving comfortable home for those she loved.Ruby is survived by her husband, Kaysville; one son, Bob Palmer, Kaysville; two daughters, Judy (Byron) Barton, San Jose, California; and Sally (Gordon) McWain, Bountiful; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also one sister, Velda Olsen, Franklin, Idaho. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 1996 at Kaysville LDS Rock Chapel, 25 South 200 East. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, and at the church Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
