Our beloved "Mother Myrle" died on Wednesday, October 30, 1996 at LDS Hospital.

She was born August 19, 1899 in Holden (Millard County) Utah, daughter of John Christian and Edna Earl Hawley Poulson, Jr. Married August 17, 1917 in the Salt Lake Temple to Sidney O. Hunter. He preceded her in death October 25, 1991.She graduated from Millard High School and later took correspondence courses from the University of Utah. Reared in a rural farm atmosphere, she taught her children the values of hard work and integrity. Lifelong active member of the LDS Church, holding positions in Ward and Stake Junior Sunday School, Primary, and MIA. She loved to travel and was fortunate enough to traverse the world with her husband in 1963. All of her family enjoyed her needlework and will for generations. She was an expert in needlepoint and intricate lace crochet work.

She is survived by two children, Dr. J. Poulson (Marjorie) Hunter, and Teddy (Al) Chappell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren; two brothers, M. Phyl (Fawn) Poulson and Winford P. Poulson. She was preceded in death by daughter, Hope Simpson, sister, Lorene P. Ekins, and brothers, John Stanley Poulson and Alton M. Poulson, great-grandchildren Jason Issac Hunter and Corinne Rogers, and great great-granddaughter, Brittany Galanis.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, November 2, 1996 in the Parley's 6th Ward Chapel, 2350 So. 2100 East, where friends may call from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral directors, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Primary Children's Medical Center.
