The "House of Horrors" where British murderers Fred and Rosemary West sexually tortured and killed young women is to be torn down and its bricks reduced to dust, the Daily Express reported.

The newspaper said the municipal council in the city of Gloucester, in western England, would start demolishing the house Monday to foil ghoulish tourists and souvenir hunters. The remains of nine bodies were found in the cellar and garden of 25 Cromwell Street. Gloucester City Council later bought the dwelling.

Rosemary West is serving a life sentence for murder.

Her husband hanged himself in jail while awaiting trial.
