Salt Lake City will enter the hard-hat area when Tool plays the Saltair pavilion, Sunday, Nov. 3. The music begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tool, the band that always balances on the line separating modern grind with heavy metal, is currently on the road in support of "Aenima," the band's second full-length album and third overall release."Aenima" burst onto the Billboard Top 200 at No. 2 a couple of weeks ago, and the single, "Stinkfest," is garnering rapid rotation on radio stations across the nation.
The band's first release - a four-song extended play called "Opiate" - hit the scene in 1992 to critical raves. A year later, the band's debut album, "Undertow," sold more than 500,000 copies, which is considered gold status.
Tool's updated lineup features vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey and new bassist Justin Chancellor - who replaced departed bass-man Paul D'Amour.
