Our beloved son, brother, and father, Michael Scot Loveless, age 35, passed away November 11, 1996 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born in Salt Lake City on April 29, 1961, the second son of David G. and Betty J. Loveless. Michael was raised in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas and always had a special affinity for the mountains. He moved to Salt Lake with his family in his youth, and has lived here since that time. He loved to ski and spend time in the canyons. He was an Eagle Scout and spent many summers running the rapids of the Snake River. One especially fond memory was the summer he served as a guide for the Explorer Canoe Base in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.Michael was a student at the Salt Lake Community College where he was completing his general education in preparation for a degree in architecture.
He was considerate of others and wanted to help whenever possible, which was the reason he was an organ donor. His greatest love was his two sons, Zachary and Tyler. They were the source of his greatest joy. Michael fought with all his might the many trials he faced in this life. He has touched our lives and our hearts forever and we will rejoice on the day in the eternities when we can be reunited. We will always remember you and miss you, Mike!
Michael is survived by his parents, David and Betty; four siblings, Matthew, Merrilee, Sam and Sheryl; two beloved sons, Zachary and Tyler.
