The struggling Utah Grizzlies will try to get back to their old way of life - which included winning hockey games - against the San Antonio Dragons tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Alamodome.
Since jumping out to the second-best start in IHL history at 8-0, the Grizzlies have been mired in a considerable slump. Utah is just 2-7-1 in its last 10 games and has fallen to 10-7-1 overall for second place in the Southwest Division. The Dragons, meantime, are off to a great start in their new city. Formerly the Peoria Rivermen, they relocated to San Antonio over the summer and have found plenty of success in the early going with a Midwest Division-leading 11-4 record.
Tonight's game will be the final one of Utah's eight-game road swing. The Grizzlies, who have gone 1-6 on the trip, return to the Delta Center for a Saturday night contest against the Las Vegas Thunder.
