Pearl Pace Williams, 91, passed away peacefully after a long illness in Murray, Utah November 14, 1996.
Born July 8, 1905 in New Harmony, Utah to Henry A. and Abigail Hammond Pace. Married Richard Williams, Jr. of Cedar City, Utah in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 28, 1928; he preceded her in death.Pearl was a dedicated member of the LDS Church serving in various capacities. She served with her husband on a LDS Mission to Mississippi and in the St. George LDS Temple. Pearl graduated from the College of Southern Utah with a degree in education and taught many years in the Iron County schools.
Survived by three daughters, Audree W. Heaton, Marian W. Robinson, both of Salt Lake City; Bonnie Jean Pacheco, Moab; son, R. Alan Williams, Las Gatos, California; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon H. Pace of New Harmony, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 1996, 1:30 p.m. at the New Harmony LDS Chapel where friends may call Wednesday, 12-1:15 p.m. Interment, New Harmony Cemetery. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
