I am writing to decry the personal attacks on John Pingree in the current UTA board spectacle. John is one of the finest men in this state. He has served the public with great wisdom, intelligence and foresight. Personally, he is honest, of the finest character, and decent in every regard.
His actions at UTA have at all times been motivated by public interest and business operating concerns, and not by personal agenda. Some of his critics fail to note that John has worked under the direction of the UTA Board of Directors in his successful management of the UTA business for the past 19 years.I believe that UTA and the people it serves cannot do better than John Pingree. I urge everyone involved to support John Pingree in his fight with the interests arrayed against him.
