At age 16 years of age, our beautiful Kimberly Dawn Lindquist, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 17, 1996, due to an automobile accident.

Our beloved Kim was born June 18, 1980 to Denise Holmberg and John A. Lindquist in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kim enjoyed attending Aldergrove Community Secondary School in British Columbia, Canada. She was an elite gymnast, coached gymnastics and girls basketball. Kim moved to St. George in August 1996 to attend Pine View High School as well as to be close to her family members.She enjoyed seminary and was involved in the French club. Her ambition was to work in the sports medicine field. Her favorite pastime was working on her scrapbook, and writing letters to her friends. She delighted in the Christmas Season. Her radiant smile was her special gift to everyone whom she came in contact with.

Kim is survived by her mother, Denise (Brent) Pihowich, Aldergrove, B.C., Canada; her father, John (Charlene) Lindquist, St. George; brothers and sisters, Kris Lindquist, St. George; Michelle Pihowich, Aldergrove, B.C., Canada; Cheryl, Mark, Suzanne, David and Jeffrey Lindquist all of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; Phillip and Wayne Marticorena, Salt Lake City; and Mali (Ryan) Bean, Virginia Beach, VA.; grandmother, Alice Holmberg, Barrhead, Alberta, Canada; and an uncle Rick Holmberg of Greensboro, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 23rd, 11 a.m. at the Bloomington Hills LDS Stake Center, 1130 E. Brigham Road. Friends may call Friday 7-8 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary or Saturday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the stake center. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
