AVALANCE-BRUINS TRADE: The Colorado Avalanche on Friday traded forward Landon Wilson and defenseman Anders Myrvold to Boston for the Bruins' first-round draft pick in 1998.

LINDROS MAY RETURN: Eric Lindros, the Philadelphia Flyers' star center, has been cleared to play and could return as soon as Saturday.

Lindros has missed the first 22 games with a nagging groin injury he sustained at the World Cup of Hockey in September.

DEVILS-KINGS TRADE: A week after the New Jersey Devils assigned him to Manitoba of the IHL, center Neal Broten was traded to the Los Angeles Kings Friday for future considerations.

The Kings assigned Broten to the Phoenix Roadrunners, their IHL affiliate.
