Eva King Andersen, 71, died November 24, 1996 in Provo, Utah.

She was born March 25, 1925 in Antimony, Utah, a daughter of Lyman and Stella Gates King. She married Karlie Wood and was later divorced. She married Virgil Andersen on July 21, 1962 in Elko, Nevada. Marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.Survivors include her husband, Virgil of Salina; son, Chad and Beverly Wood, of Orem; daughters, Marsha and Tom Brant, of Farmington, Utah; Stephanie and Dan Young, Gunnison, Utah; Joan and VanDell Wood, of Las Vegas, Nevada; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers and sisters, Della Peterson Washburn, Richfield, Utah; Eugene King, Antimony, Utah; Ruth Morgan, Ventura, Calif.; Kenneth King, Antimony, Utah; Sheren Kimball, Ventura, Calif. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Ronald King, sisters, Fay Nielsen and Clyda Deneke.

Funeral services Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1996 at 2 p.m. in the Salina Stake Center, 98 West 400 No., where friends may call Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 12 noon-1:30 p.m. prior to services. Burial in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Home of Salina and Richfield.
