Israel has issued its annual "Jewish New Year Festival" stamps. The set consists of three stamps portraying symbolic aspects of the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashana), The Festival of Tabernacles (Sukkot) and the Festival of Rejoicing of the Torah (Simchat Torah).

The festival stamps are the longest continuing series of postage stamps released by the Israel Postal Authority, going back to the 1948 set of five stamps that highlighted the flying scroll insignia found on pottery from the time of the Kings of Judah.
