- Scholars and historians explored the lasting significance of the Winter Quarters epoch in Church history Nov. 16 at the fourth annual Mormon History Symposium sponsored by the National Society of the Sons of Utah Pioneers.

Presentations given by author Richard E. Bennett and Marjorie Conder of the Museum of Church History and Art were reported in last week's Church News. On this page are reports of a readers theater presentation and comments from two members of that panel - Maureen Ursenbach Beecher and Carol Corwall Madsen - during a question-answer session following the presentation.
