Edna S. Hansen, 81, died November 3, 1996 in Provo, Utah.

She was born October 6, 1915 in Victor, Idaho, to Milton L. and Martha Ann Tonks Sheets. She married Brooks Fairbanks, who passed away early in their marriage. She married Virgil N. Hansen, September 6, 1944 in Long Beach, California. She lived in California during World War II. She moved to Springville and lived there for 51 years. She and her husband owned and operated Park Ro-She until they sold it and semi-retired. She always had a big garden and shared and canned all of the produce. She was a member of the LDS Church and held many callings, including music callings in Primary, Sunday School, Mutual and Relief Society. She served as the president of the Young Women, a visiting teacher and worked in the Provo Temple for 5 years. Her hobbies were crocheting and a life long love of music. Alzada Stevens came to live with them as part of the LDS Church's Indian Placement Program.She is survived by her husband, numerous nieces and nephews, and Alzada Stevens, of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Hansen Mann in 1973, four brothers, two sisters, and her parents.

Funeral Services Wednesday, November 6, 1996 at 2 pm in the Hobble Creek Stake Center, 555 S. 600 East, Springville, Utah. Friends may call Wednesday from 1-1:45 pm at the church. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
