Our loving mother and grandmother Kaye Silver peacefully passed from this world on November 7, 1996, surrounded by love at the home of her daughter in Salt Lake City.

She was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Rupert, Idaho, to Robert L. and Macey Morris Pence. Her greatest love was filling the hearts of friends, children, and grandchildren with her special Christmas spirit. She will be dearly missed.She graduated from Weber High School in 1953 and then married Dean G. Randall on April 28, 1954. They divorced in 1985. She then married Verne W. Silver of Santa Maria, Calif. on December 19, 1987, and was later divorced.

She enjoyed playing golf and bridge while working as a bookkeeper in Ogden before moving to California to care for her father.

She is survived by her father Robert L. Pence of Santa Maria, Calif.; her two children: Kirk and Tina Randall of Layton, Randy and Dana Ricketts of Salt Lake City; and four grandchildren: Jeff, Tricia, Jenny, and Aaron.

At her request, cremation shall be performed by the Cremation Society of Utah. Friends and family may join to remember Kaye at the home of Kirk and Tina Randall, 768 East 425 So., Layton, on Sunday, November 10, from 3-6 p.m.

Special thanks to the University of Utah Hospital, 5 North and Community Nursing Hospice for their loving care; in lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Interment Yakima, Washington.
