Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend, Lynn James Baker, age 80, passed away February 7, 1996 at home in South Salt Lake.

Lynn was born April 26, 1915, in American Fork, Utah, the son of Ausby and Ada C. Chadwick Baker. He married Mervil R. Clements on September 24, 1936 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church. The greatest joy in his life was his sweetheart and family.He was survived by his wife, Mervil; daughters, Donna (Gus) Bueter, Janice (Gerald) Potter, Kay (Radell) Hunt, Barbara (Douglas) Peterson, Catherine (Jack) Creechley, Boise, Idaho; Pam Baker and Penny Perkins; sons, James (Claire) Riverside, Calif.; Leslie (Gail), Richard (Connie), David (Malinda), Mikele (Judy) Baker, Beaver Dam, Ariz.; 37 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a son, Russell and daughter, Judy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 12, 1996, 11 a.m. at the Kimball Ward, 2280 South 300 East. Friends may call Sunday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment: American Fork City Cemetery, 600 No. 100 East, American Fork, Utah. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Baker family fund, 4066 West 3800 So., WVC, Utah 84120.
