Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Elvera Ilene Helquist Roberts, age 76, died February 10, 1996 in Provo, after a short illness.

She was born December 7, 1919 in Koosharem, a daughter of Alfred Leo and Laura Vest Helquist. She married Garth Roberts, December 8, 1937 in Richfield. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, March 20, 1943. She was an active member of the LDS Church, holding leadership positions in many of the organizations. She served as the Antimony Postmistress and owned and operated the Antimony Store. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as "Grandma Honey" to most everyone around.She is survived by her husband, Antimony; children, LaRell and Sherey Roberts, Elk Ridge; Keith and LaRene Roberts, Murray; Elaine and Nate Tebbs, Richfield; Ken and Valeene Roberts, Antimony; Darlene and Doug Evans, Panguitch; Kim and Scott Adams, Annabella; 29 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Merida Huntsman, Salt Lake City; Donal Helquist, Elsinore; LaCon Helquist, Brigham City; Elman Helquist, West Jordan; Ellen Helquist, Richfield; Shirlene Spencer, Monroe; Alfred Helquist, White Rocks; Leslie Helquist, Goshen; Leora Johnson, Payette, Idaho; Luella Adams, Panguitch; Lee Helquist, Richfield. She was preceded in death by a son, LaVere Roberts and two brothers, Burns and LeEarl Helquist.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 14, 1996 at 1 p.m. in the Antimony LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer-Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Antimony, Wednesday from 11 to 12:30 prior to services. Burial: Antimony Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
