West Jordan
The City Council will discuss the master plan for a Salt Lake Community College campus to be located at 9000 South and the Bangerter Highway. Issues to be addressed include: an increase in traffic, outdoor lighting, building placement and height and the community's use of the library and recreational facilities.

South Jordan
Representatives Mont Evans and Lloyd Frandsen will hold a legislative hearing on HB428, which would allocate $2 million to South Jordan to build a road that will close a hazardous railroad crossing at 10200 South and 300 West.

Workshops
Taylorsville-Bennion
Salt Lake Community College and an architectural firm will host a series of workshops as plans move forward for a new community college campus at 9000 South and the Bangerter Highway. Call Maurene Williams at 957-4198 for information.
When: Wednesday, Feb. 21, 8:30 a.m. to noon (brainstorming session); 1:30 to 5 p.m. (vision statement).
Where: 4600 S. Redwood Road, Science and Industry building Exhibit Hall. (Park near west end of campus off 2200 West).
Drop-in sessions will take place all day Thursday, Feb. 22, and Friday, Feb. 23.
