The Fannie Mae Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to Our House, a child-care center for homeless children. The center is located in the Artspace Rubber Company building downtown in Salt Lake City.

Operated by the Homeless Children's Foundation, the education-based facility includes an infant room, five classrooms, a kitchen and a state-of-the-art playground licensed to care for 55 preschool-age children. It opened in October.
