Frank Thomas Eggertsen, 82, of Benjamin, Utah, passed away February 12, 1996 in the Mountain View Hospital in Payson.

Frank was born March 26, 1913 in Provo, Utah, to Burton S. and Annie Thomas Eggertsen. He grew up in Sunnyside, Utah, and graduated from high school in Price, Utah. He graduated from the U of U and received a BS Degree in chemistry. He earned a PhD in chemistry from the University of Minn. He was employed by Shell Oil and later by Cal Ink in Berkeley, California. He married Beth Marie Krueger, December 29, 1939 and later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. She passed away in 1987. He married Iris F. Beckstrom, March 2, 1991.He is survived by his wife and three children, Carl Frank (Scharden) Eggertsen, Ventura, Calif.; Thomas K. (Mary) Eggertsen, Orinda, Calif.; Grace Ann (Michael) Nolan, Pilot Hill, Calif.; nine grandchildren; five step-children; 11 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 17, 1996 at 12 noon in the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday, 10:30-11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
