With help from "Gulliver's Travels," NBC beat out its rivals in the prime-time Nielsen ratings, while lowly CBS nudged ABC into third place.

The finale of the "Gulliver's Travels" miniseries finished at No. 4 for the week of Feb. 5-11. With six other shows in the top 10, NBC earned a 12.9 rating and a 21 percent average share of the prime-time audience, according to Nielsen figures.CBS, however, landed "60 Minutes" at No. 8, its "Thorn Birds" miniseries at No. 9, "Walker, Texas Ranger" tied for 10th, and the family hit "Touched by an Angel" at No. 14 for a 10.1/16.

ABC's "Home Improvement" was its only top 10 show. The network finished one-tenth of a point behind CBS. Fox earned an 8.4 rating, 13 share.

A single ratings point equals 959,000 households. Share is the percentage of televisions tuned in during a given time period.
