Edward "Eddie" Paul Naughton, 80, of Salt Lake City died February 15, 1996.
He was born January 16, 1916 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to William and Katherine Clancey Naughton.He attended West High School and the University of Utah, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1948. He was a crossing guard and a little league coach for many years and a great fan of all sports. He loved art and music and had a dance band in his younger days. He was a very talented artist.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Van Wagenen Naughton; son, Paul (Libby) Naughton; daughter, Cheryl (Brent) Arbon; three grandsons and a great-grandson; brothers, Jim (Mary) Naughton and Tom Naughton, all of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack and a grandson, Zachary.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Barney and the staff of Midtown Care Center for being so nice to Ed.
He was a great guy!
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 12 noon at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
