I noticed that recently a federal appeals court overturned President Clinton's order that barred the government from contracting with employers who hire replacement workers during a strike. Business leaders and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hailed the ruling; labor unions did not.
It is my opinion that Clinton's policies of wanting the federal government to hold control rather than delegating to the states (a basic tenet of the Constitution), not allowing freedom to trade through the above-mentioned strike policy, allowing abortions, supporting homosexuality and the like, are much closer to socialism and communism than the principles upon which this nation was founded. It is said that during his college years, while protesting the Vietnam draft, Clinton spent some time in Russia. And today, with Russia searching fairly unsuccessfully for leadership, perhaps he is running for president of the wrong ideology and country.
