Thomas T. "Pete" Freeman, age 91, passed away in Salt Lake City February 18, 1996.

Born January 11, 1905 in Herriman, Utah to Thomas and Ida Eastman Freeman. Married Helen M. Perkins in Salt Lake City September 3, 1941; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served an LDS Mission in Missouri. Peter retired at age 76 after 44 dedicated years as one of the Hayes Brothers' top car salesmen. A member of the Eagles and Moose Clubs, Pete enjoyed dancing, going to baseball games with his sons at Derk's Field and entertaining family and friends in their home.Preceded in death by their three sons, Ray Dell, Tommy Ray, and Pete's pride and joy, Troy Ray Dell; brothers, Lonzo Morro, Royce and Virgil. Survived by wife, Helen, granddaughter, Heather, daughter-in-law, Jeniece Sterzer; sisters, Norma Pratt, Inez Morely, Salt Lake City; Bernice Lewis, Taylorsville; Thelda "Ted" Garrick and Betty Ridgeway, Boise, Idaho; brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held February 22, 1996 at 12 noon at the Waterloo Ward House, 1623 So. 500 East. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Viewing will be at Deseret Mortuary, Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m., 36 East 700 South. Interment: Herriman Cemetery.
