Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend, Dalton Lavin Talley, 74, died at home in Orem after a valiant battle with cancer.

He was born April 3, 1921 in Hamilton County, Texas, son of O.M. and Ruby Lee Arrant Talley. He married Imogene Porter on December 26, 1942 in Logan, Utah. On October 26, 1955, their marriage was solemnized in the St. George Temple. They lived most of their lives in San Bernardino, California where Dalton worked for the city schools, and raised their four children. All who knew him loved him dearly. He served as a High Priest in the LDS Church.He is survived by his wife, of Orem; four children: Sharon and Les Watson, of Orem; Larry and Tricia Talley, of Houston, Texas; Ken and Becky Talley, of Indianola; Keith and Stacy Talley, of Orem; 25 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the Timpanogos Park 5th Ward, 990 No. 100 West, Orem. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center on Friday evening 6-8 p.m. or at the Stake Center on Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment Timpanogos Memorial Gardens.
