SHARE DEATH: HELEN ""MERLENE"" BOLLIGER

Helen Merlene Ferguson Bolliger, age 66, passed away February 24, 1996, at a local hospital.

Born October 31, 1929, in Sandy, Utah, to Stanley W. and Dorothy Larsen Ferguson. Married Dallas "Bud" Ray Bolliger on April 21, 1956, in Sandy. Member of the LDS Church.Merlene worked as a grocery checker for over 30 years. She loved to read, play Bingo, bowling, trips to Wendover and being in the mountains fishing. Merlene was a great care giver; she tended to the needs and problems of others.

Survived by her husband of Salt Lake City; children, Paulette Bigler (Randy) Morgan, West Valley City; Kudrat (Simran) Khalsa (Sherrie Bigler), New Mexico; Joni Bolliger Guymon, Salt Lake City; Dirk (Holly) Bolliger, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother, Sherman Ferguson, Sacramento, Calif.; sisters, Madeline Davis, West Valley; Bonnie Cowley and Lois Christensen, both of Murray, Utah; Faye Fitzgerald of Herriman, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers and sisters.

Funeral services Wednesday, February 28, 1996, 10 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, 9-9:50 a.m.
