Police are continuing to investigate a scuffle at a high school basketball game two weeks ago between Woods Cross High parents and Murray High students.

At the Feb. 13 game at Woods Cross, a parent of a Woods Cross student reportedly got angry at some Murray students who were standing and blocking his view. He left his seat and tried to forcefully sit one of them down, sparking a shoving match. The confrontation came after Woods Cross parents and Murray students had been yelling at each other over the Murray students' standing.

"Kids will stand at all games, everyone knows that," said Murray Principal Richard Tranter. "If you don't want to stand, don't sit there."

Woods Cross resource officer Lt. Clarence Montgomery is now gathering information about the incident to see if legal action is warranted.
