Ethyl Andrea Harris Blake, 84, died of natural causes incident to age, February 1, 1996 in Orem, Utah.

She was born to Dagobert and Minnie Hansen Harris, December 9, 1911 in Leeds, Washington County, Utah. She married Reed Eldon Blake, August 31, 1929; their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple.She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding numerous church positions, including ward Relief Society president and stake Relief Society presidency; ward Primary president; many years in various MIA positions; and Sunday School teacher. She was a temple worker for several years.

During the decade of the 1940's she was the St. George Chapter president of the American Red Cross. She was a member of the St. George Alice Louise Reynolds Club and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father and by her five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her four children, Mrs. Irene (Clyde) Beardall, Orem; Reed H. Blake, Provo; Mrs. Kathleen (Robert) Mitchell, Alamo, Calif.; Mrs. Karen (John) Frei, Golden, Colorado; and 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 300 West St. George Blvd. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be held in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
