Southern Utah's two highest women's gymnastics scores ever came against Utah State, the program that gave SUU coach Scott Bauman. Utah State's top two all-time scores came against Southern Utah, both 193.95 in the two meetings last year.

Monday night is the first of two consecutive meetings, the 21st meeting overall, between the state's two most-far flung schools. The 2-1 T-Birds take on the 1-2 Aggies in the SUU Centrum starting at 7. On Feb. 19, they'll do it again in Logan, with Auburn invited, too.SUU's 1996 high came in its opener, 189.125. It had 188.975 to beat Denver (186.65) a week ago and is ranked 34th in the NCAA. The ninth-ranked Aggies are coming off their season high, 193.275, in a home loss to No. 8 Brigham Young (193.825) Thursday.

Ag freshman Amber Jamison has USU's top two all-around scores (38.675, 38.60). T-Bird junior Julie Talbot leads SUU in three events and all-around (38.017 average).

This is SUU's last home meet until March 11 (BYU). USU remains on the road, at Arizona State Feb. 16.
