Ruth Gertrude Hildreth, 69, passed away February 4, 1996 in Sandy, Utah.

Born March 9, 1926, in Rock Springs, Wyo. to Henry and Anna Harder Bluhm. She married Bruce F. Hildreth in October 1945 in Towanda, Penn.; marriage later solemnized in 1960 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died November 11, 1990. As a member of the LDS Church she faithfully served in many callings including Primary President, District Primary President, Relief Society and Primary teacher. She was a very creative person who enjoyed painting, needlework, sewing and gardening. Her greatest love was music. She received great joy in teaching piano for the past 40 years. She was a sensitive, caring, giving person; always concerned for others' welfare.Survived by: Children, Sandra and Leo Ball, Sandy, Utah; Bruce and Beverly of Sumter, So. Carolina; Shari-Anne, Half Moon Bay, Calif.; Marsha and David Kadish, Canton, Michigan; Martin, Utica, Michigan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ervin and MaryLou Bluhm, Tunkhannok, Penn.; Gerald and Jackie Bluhm, Dallas, Texas; preceded in death by brothers, Ernest and Albert; son, James Robert.

Funeral services Thursday, February 8, 1996, 12 noon, at the Sandy Cottonwood Creek Stake Center, 1535 East Creek Road. Friends may call Wednesay, 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East, and on Thursday, one hour prior to services at the church.
