Pierre Albert Moynier, Jr., age 83, died February 5, 1996 in a Provo hospital.

Born October 25, 1912 in Price, Utah, the son of Pierre Albert and Lea Blanchard Moynier. Married Dorothy Duquesne, November 9, 1941 in Ely, Nevada. Member of the Catholic Church. Lifelong resident of Carbon County. Attended Carbon High School. Pierre was active with Moynier & Sons in the livestock business, and served for many years with the grazing and livestock boards in Southeastern Utah. A life member of Price Elk's Lodge #1550, where he served as trustee. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Survived by wife, Dorothy, Price; two sons, one daughter and spouses, Pierre A. and Claudia Moynier III, Price; Melanie and Dave Dent, Delta; Lee and Julie Moynier, Price. Also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; twin brother, Paul and Mae Moynier, Price; sisters, Blanche Nicholson, Price; Bertha Lyons, Vista, Calif. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers, Leon, Sr., Honore, Jr. and Marius Moynier; four sisters, Rose Carlson, Madeline Griffone, Olga Dupin, and Marie Abbott.

Funeral Mass Friday, February 9, 1996, 10 a.m., Notre Dame DeLourdes Catholic Church. Vigil Service Thursday 7 p.m., Mitchell Chapel, where friends may call Thursday and Friday prior to services. Committal Service: Price Cemetery.
