Brad Laing did more than just score 50 points in Wayne's 83-81 overtime win over Piute Thursday.

The Wayne junior hit nine 3-pointers, including one with five seconds left to force overtime, before providing the winning margin with two free throws late in the extra session.His efforts helped the No. 2-ranked Badgers overcome a 46-31 halftime deficit and 27 points by Thunderbird Gary Barben in the Region 15 tilt.

Region 15

Enterprise 69, Milford 63: Garrik Jones, David Nelson and Sam Randall combined for 55 points as the Wolves held off a late rally by the Tigers. Brady Williams finished with a game-high 23 for Milford.

Escalante 67, Panguitch 58: Dusty Barnson racked up 28 points and Ryan Cottam added 22 as the Moquis surprised the Bobcats. Jeremy Withers had 18 for Panguitch.

Valley 90, Bryce Valley 68: Jeff Baird scored 27 points as the visiting Buffaloes bounced the Mustangs. Lance Syrett had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Bryce Valley.

Region 16 South

Green River 94, East Carbon 65: Ryan Parsons hit nine 3-pointers and finished with 40 points as the visiting Pirates pounded the Vikings. Sy Harrison added 21 for Green River, while Adam Rogers led East Carbon with 17.

Nonregion

ICS 75, Rich 61: Michael Gray's 21 points led the Lions past the Rebels in Randolph. Tyler VanClavern chipped in 17 for ICS. Nathan Argyle led Rich with 18.

Waterford 71, Meridian 50: Matt Wade finished with 18 points and eight rebounds in leading the fifth-ranked Wolves past the visiting Mongoose. Jason Hewlett contributed six 3-pointers for 18 points.
